Developers working on the Team Win Recovery Project recently unveiled TWRP 3.4.0 – a major release with several notable improvements, such as partial support for Android 10. TWRP has become the de-facto custom recovery solution for the Android modding community, as it can be used to flash ZIP archives that contain custom ROMs or other mods, make and restore full data backups, and do much more. Now, a handful of devices from different manufacturers have made their way to the official roster, namely, the Samsung Galaxy M20, Galaxy S4 Mini (Sprint variant), and the Fairphone 3.
Samsung Galaxy M20
The Samsung Galaxy M20 launched in India with Samsung Experience UX v9.5 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo, but received subsequent updates to Android Pie and Android 10 back in 2019. There is already an unofficial build of TWRP for this device on our forums, but the arrival of official TWRP now ensures better support.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini (Sprint)
Next up is the Sprint variant of the Galaxy S4 Mini (model number SPH-L520). This seven-year-old phone has received a dedicated TWRP build due to the efforts of XDA Recognized Developer ripee, who is the TWRP maintainer of the regular S4 mini as well. Before flashing, make sure you are running L520VPSBQA1 firmware on your phone.

Fairphone 3
The Fairphone 3 is not an average mid-range smartphone out there. The device is designed to support easy repairability, and you can even buy it with a Google-free OS. The official TWRP build is maintained by XDA Senior Member k4y0z and can be downloaded at the below link.
Change in maintainers
Along with the recent additions, the maintainership of the OnePlus 5 and the OnePlus 5T have been changed. XDA Recognized Developer mauronofrio is the new maintainer for the unified OnePlus 5/5T TWRP custom recovery.

Removals
Not all of today’s news is good news, though. TWRP maintainer Samar Vispute, better known as SamarV-121, has decided to drop support for the Motorola Moto E4 Plus, Motorola Moto E5, Realme 2 Pro, Unihertz Jelly Pro, Xiaomi Redmi 6, and Xiaomi Redmi 6A. The existing builds for these phones are still available for download from the TWRP portal, but don’t expect new automated builds for them to land anytime soon without an active maintainer.
